March is a busy month, especially in college. Just off spring break, most students have midterms, papers, and projects due. It may seem a great deal of work, but in the end, all that work will pay off when school gets out for the summer! In the meantime, while you are taking a break from that pile of work you made a dent in, Off-Campus Student Programs and Services has a very busy, fun-packed month ahead. Want to know what’s happening? Here’s a break down of activities and events to expect.
3/22: Holi Moli
Holi is played by throwing colored powder at one another, covering each other as much as possible. Make sure to wear white! This event will take place on the field behind Finley Lot, directly across from Lot H. Near Krug Hall, Thompson Hall and Finley Building. HOLI MOLI is in collaboration with Student Government, the Resident Student Association and Off Campus Council. Student Government will be giving out free pizza and drinks and the Off Campus Council will also be giving out free sunglasses from 12-1:30pm. Holi celebration will begin at 1:30! All students are welcome! Color will be provided and it is absolutely FREE! The powder is simply colored corn starch, and you may bring something to cover your face while you play if you like. There will be supplies available for clean up.
